MNCConsultingDiscuss a transition
MNC / Services

Senior judgement. Practical programme control.

Technology advisory, interim leadership and programme management shaped around the business situation—not a predetermined job title or a report that stops at recommendations.

01 / Advisory

Clarity where the decision sits.

MNC supports sponsors, boards and transaction teams when technology risk needs a commercially usable position. The starting point is the business decision: what is being considered, which assumptions matter and what evidence is missing.

Work can cover confidential pre-deal assessment, separation planning, TSA exposure, completion dependencies and the operating model after a transaction. Findings distinguish evidence from assumptions and bring unresolved issues to the appropriate legal, procurement and deal advisers.

  • Define the question, scope and decision horizon before expanding the work.
  • Identify the critical dependencies and options, including cost and delivery implications.
  • Make recommendations briefable, with explicit ownership and next decisions.

02 / Leadership

The right role for the situation.

An interim CIO or CTO may be appropriate, but not every situation needs the same seat. Programme director, separation lead and technology workstream leadership can be equally important when a transaction or pressured change needs accountable direction.

MNC combines senior leadership with hands-on programme management. The role is to establish what is true, align the work around business priorities and keep decisions, delivery and operational risk connected.

Ownership that can be used

  • Clear decision rights and an escalation route to the transaction sponsor or business leadership.
  • Named responsibilities within the client team, with suppliers and business functions aligned.
  • A working cadence for dependencies, decisions, milestones and exceptions.
  • A handover that leaves the permanent team with context, evidence and an operating rhythm.

03 / Programme management

Keep the work connected.

Technology change can fragment across infrastructure, applications, security, data, suppliers and business operations. A milestone list is not sufficient when one workstream's assumption is another's blocker.

Programme control brings those dependencies together. MNC connects the delivery sequence to Day 1 needs, TSA exit, service acceptance and the business's capacity to operate the result.

  • Translate objectives into workstreams and decision gates.
  • Track dependency owners, due decisions and the consequences of delay.
  • Coordinate cutover, contingency, knowledge transfer and acceptance.
  • Maintain visibility of residual obligations, costs and risks after transition.

04 / Stabilisation and continuity

An operating model that holds.

In a pressured environment, stabilisation starts with a reliable view of services, ownership and controls. It then moves into a technology strategy and operating model that support what the business needs to do next.

MNC can remain for an interim period after TSA exit or a major handover, helping the receiving team sustain service, close residual actions and establish permanent ownership. The transition should be governed by the operating position, not simply the end of a project calendar.

05 / Confidentiality

Confidential by default.

Initial conversations are handled discreetly by senior practitioners. Before substantive confidential information is exchanged, MNC Consulting can work under a mutually agreed NDA, or review the counterparty’s standard form. Information is shared only with agreed recipients and used solely for the relevant advisory or transaction purpose.

No client, transaction or diligence information is disclosed publicly without permission.

You do not need a fully formed brief. Tell us what is being considered, what is sensitive and where the technology risk sits. Initial conversations are handled discreetly, with an NDA available before substantive information is exchanged.
